What I do at Digital Science
Ana leads Customer Engagement for the Government, Funder, and Nonprofit segment at Digital Science as part of the Customer Success team with her team's primary focus on Figshare and Overleaf accounts. Since 2020, she has led North America government and funder repository projects and awards for Figshare. She is a PI for the NIH Generalist Repository Ecosystem Initiative (GREI) award for Figshare and manages repository contracts for US federal agencies and private funders as well as her leadership role for Customer Engagement more broadly at Digital Science.
Who am I?
Ana has a PhD in Cognitive Psychology and 12 years of experience working in open science and open data. She previously worked at the Carnegie Mellon University Libraries as a data curation fellow, librarian for psychology, and director of the Libraries' open science program. She joined Figshare in 2020 to lead an NIH-funded project and has since managed the US Federal program for Figshare and expanded her role within Customer Engagement leadership at Digital Science. She is based in Seattle, WA and enjoys cats, cakes, sailing, and gardening.
