Michael Qiu

I manage our team of Sales Managers and Account Managers working with academic institutions in the Americas. My main job is to make sure our team has all of the tools and resources to allow everyone to succeed in their day-to-day work and meet their goals.

I started my career as a chemist and librarian, working in an academic library as a Chemistry Librarian before moving into scholarly publishing. Since then, I have worked across various roles in library & customer relations, marketing, business development, and sales. I started at Digital Science as an Account Manager, moved into a Sales Director position, and became the VP Academic Sales in 2023.
