Jonathan Breeze

As Senior Vice President of Operations at Digital Science, I lead the company's operating engine across Revenue Operations (RevOps) and Business Operations (BizOps) - leveraging deep organisational experience to remove operational friction, drive commercial velocity, and support growth.

My Digital Science journey started in 2012 when Symplectic received its Series B investment from Digital Science. I initially joined the Product team and used my prior domain and product management experience to help expand the business outside the UK.

I was appointed CEO of Symplectic in 2013 and spent over 10 years building a high-performing team capable of competing on an international stage. During that time, I led initiatives spanning Commercial Strategy, Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Operations.

In 2021, I led the unification of Symplectic and CC Technology, and was subsequently appointed Managing Director of Research Workflows in November 2022 to oversee the strategic integration of Figshare and Symplectic.

More recently, I spearheaded the creation of Digital Science's Academic Segment and its management team, holding full P&L and strategic responsibility for all Digital Science products and services across the sector.

I now serve as Senior Vice President of Operations, leading Digital Science's unified operating engine across Revenue Operations (RevOps) and Business Operations (BizOps).
